In 2016, Tubesca-Comabi joined the Frénéhard & Michaux group. The companies within the Group share a common industrial tradition: Aluminium and steel. They share the same focus on working at height: The manufacture lightweight access products (scaffolding and ladders), collective and individual protection against falls from height, as well as roof accessories and fixings.

Operating in 70 countries around the world, the Group can provide construction and industry professionals with a wide variety of products across Europe.

Our history

1954

Creation of TUBESCA, the first European manufacturer to use aluminium in the production of heavy-duty ladders.

1954

Creation of COMABI, France's leading manufacturer of steel facade scaffolding and ladder lifts, with a factory in the Ain department.

1988

Acquisition of Cognet.

1991

Acquisition of Escanor.

2011

TUBESCA and COMABI merge and become TUBESCA-COMABI.

2012

Construction of a new production site in Picardy.

2016

The company joined the Frénéhard & Michaux Group.
